Lighting Up Newcastle Quayside With A Red Carpet Event at SIX Rooftop

On the evening of Monday 20^th October, Parkers Chauffeurs proudly hosted an unforgettable event at SIX Rooftop to celebrate the official launch of joining Pneuma Group, recently named one of the Top 250 businesses in the North East.

The event brought together clients, colleagues, and friends from across the UK, with guests travelling from London, Scotland, and Ireland to join us for this special occasion. The atmosphere was one of excitement, pride, and gratitude as we reflected on Parkers’ journey so far and looked ahead to a bold new chapter within the Pneuma family.

We were honoured to welcome an exceptional lineup of guests, including Sir John Hall, Joe McElderry, Glen McCrory, and Claire Wilson from ITV, alongside many business leaders, long-standing clients, and chauffeur industry partners who have supported Parkers Chauffeurs over the years. Their presence made the evening even more special, highlighting the strength of relationships that have shaped our success.

Guests enjoyed outstanding hospitality from Six Rooftop, whose team delivered an evening of exceptional food, service, and views across the Newcastle Quayside. A particularly memorable moment came as the Millennium Bridge was illuminated in Parkers Chauffeurs and Pneuma Group signature colours, a proud symbol of celebration between our teams.

Entertainment on the night featured Sunday for Sammy live performances from Ernie; who recently supported Sam Fender and headlined The Mercury Prize Fringe, and the outstanding Chipchase Quartet who greeted guests upon arrival setting the tone for a sophisticated evening. Tim Healy joined the celebration, sharing the inspiring story behind Sunday for Sammy and its positive impact on the North East’s arts community. The evening was expertly hosted by Alfie Joey, whose warmth and wit brought energy and laughter throughout.

Laurence Beck, Director of Pneuma Automotive spoke about Parkers Chauffeurs journey of growth and the exciting opportunities ahead. Steve Brooke, CEO of Pneuma Group shared his reasons on why Parkers Chauffeurs was a good fit for Pneuma Group with so many already aligned values.
