Back in 2012 Parkers Executive Chauffeurs were the first UK chauffeur company to truly recognise the importance of protecting our environment, by creating a carbon capture scheme for its business. This initiative is officially validated under the UK Governments Woodland Carbon Code and enables us to offset our carbon footprint by planting trees. In the last two years alone we have planted 3,317 trees, offsetting 487 tonnes of carbon.

As a business, Parkers are always searching for ways to make a real difference and believe that whatever size of business or organisation, everyone can make an important contribution. Through our environmental initiatives we offer other businesses the opportunity to reduce their own carbon footprint, simply by booking their next trip with us and at no extra cost to the client! We want to forge strategic partnerships with like-minded companies who are also serious about making a difference to the environment. Planting a single tree has benefits for people, wildlife and the environment. Those benefits vastly increase when planting a whole woodland.
Next Steps
We are proud of our achievements over the last 9 years, but we continually ask ourselves “is it enough”. Regretfully, the answer is “no”, however, we are now taking our next steps towards a zero carbon future, having already introduced our first petrol electric hybrid SUV, a Porsche Cayenne and we have now also taken delivery of our first fully electric Mercedes V Class MPV to add to the fleet.

For The Future Our commitment is to the future, so we won’t stop there. We already have another fully electric luxury saloon car on it’s way, due in early 2022. This time something completely different, so hold onto your hats, its a fabulous luxury sports model that combines prestige, supreme comfort, incredible performance, and of course, zero carbon emissions!
