A Flying Start
We’ve already got off to a flying start this month with five of our team heading up to Glasgow for the COP26 summit of world leaders and businesses trying to agree a strategy and set targets to reach a net zero carbon future. We’ve had the honour of providing our chauffeur services to Presidents, Ministers, Diplomats and business leaders attending this hugely important event.
As a business, we very much support the efforts of all concerned and are taking our own steps towards a cleaner, healthier future and one that doesn’t have the unwanted impact of climate change. In the last couple of months alone we have introduced two new hybrid luxury SUV’s and two new fully electric luxury MPV’s. Even before these new additions we were leading the field, having made the decision to go carbon neutral with a scheme to offset our entire carbon emissions by planting trees. This week we’ve added an impressive new flagship to our fleet in the form of a Range Rover Autobiography Petrol Electric Hybrid luxury SUV. Over the Hills and Far Away!
We’ve been doing many longer distance journeys recently, travelling to all corners of the UK. Our most recent venture was to take a group of five business people to the Highlands of Scotland to visit a well known whisky distillery. Although almost 200 miles north of Edinburgh, the client commented on how much easier and convenient it was to travel this way, even than by train and at the same time being able to take in the splendour of the Highland scenery in all of it’s autumn glory! I think it’s easy sometimes to underestimate how time efficient and convenient it is to have the benefit of a door to door service. It certainly avoids having to take into account disruptive and time consuming travel connections, as the car is made available according to your timetable not that of someone else!
