Amazon recently confirmed it is to open it’s third warehouse and distribution centre in the region at Follingsby Max in Gateshead. This follows two other sites, the first in Darlington, built in 2019 and another at Bowburn, County Durham in 2020. This represents a major investment in the North East that is set to continue with the rumoured fourth site in Stockton-on-Tees in 2022. Parkers Executive Chauffeurs were delighted to be asked to provide transport services for some of those helping to ready the Gateshead site for its official opening later in the year.
